The Blue Blaze is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to honoring heroic local first responders. BB mission is to honor the extraordinary efforts of our local police & fire fighters, coupled with furthering the advancement of educational assistance, training & safety programs to help meet society’s ever-changing goals & objectives of our locals first responders.
The corporation is organized to honor police officers, firefighters, and citizens with recognition for extraordinary achievement, outstanding service, and heroic acts in the community.
A special recognition award will be presented to those who have accomplished promotions, retirement, or who have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide preventative holistic care for frontline workers and emergency responders in financial need in DuPage County.

The Blue Blaze signature fundraiser
will be the Police and Fire
Appreciation Gala
This annual event will recognize the Departments’ finest with an awards presentation for Valor, Distinguished Service, Community Relations, coupled with a Citizens and Youth Service Awards to residents of the community.
Special Recognition Award
A special recognition award will be presented to those who have accomplished promotions, retirement, or who have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.
The Blue Blaze (TBB) Future Activities
BB signature fundraiser will be the Police & Fire Appreciation Gala. This annual event will recognize the Department’s finest men & women with a presentation of awards for Valor, Distinguished Service and Community Relations.
We will also present a Citizens & Youth Service Award to residents of the community. We will grant a $500 scholarship for higher education to the recipient of the Youth Service Award. Special recognition will go to those who have accomplished promotions, attained retirement, or paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. As TB organization develops and grows we plan to have additional fundraising events throughout the year to raise additional funds to help support BB efforts.
